【介绍】：
Gainsborough is a small market town, on the banks of the River Trent, in rural Lincolnshire. Located around 15 miles north of the county capital, Lincoln. Public transport in these parts is sparse, compared to other, more densely populated towns and cities in the UK. The main bus operator here is Stagecoach Lincolnshire – who operate 2 town routes, the 1, and 2, which each operate every hour – as well as a handful of more rural services from Retford and Doncaster - as well as the Interconnect 100 service between Scunthorpe and Lincoln – all of which operate hourly, at best.

In OMSI, the network has been somewhat enhanced to make things more varied and busier. The operator is the fictional modern incarnation of “Lincolnshire Roadcar”, who operated almost all services in Gainsborough until they were taken over by Stagecoach, as part of the acquisition of the “Yorkshire Traction” group of companies in 2005.

see’s the completion of some of nagging issues left from Phase 1, which was released as a public beta, as well as adding a 12 mile extension from Lea Green to Saxilby, a nearby large Village, located between Lincoln and Gainsborough, following a section of the Real life Interconnect 100 route to Lincoln, and some other tweaks to the Phase 1 network, including re-numbering the 1 and 2 to 101 and 102, New service 103 to Morton, and 104 to Corringham Road.

Gainsborough as designed to be as light as possible, and so some details have been excluded to ensure it runs smoothly for everyone. My focus with building maps is to recreate the operational side of public transport, rather than re-creating an exact copy of a town, so there are numerous things that are different in the real town to this recreation – some intentional, some because of the limitations of OMSI

In order to get the most from the map, please read the enclosed documentation, and you may find the enclosed public timetable and bus cards useful when driving the map.

Buses only run Monday-Saturday daytimes. Make sure you are loading the map at the correct times. See the PDF timetables/running cards for details of when buses operate
