The scenery is layered on a photoreal ground, and its immediate surroundings are included. The complex architecture of the distinctive terminal is very well represented, from both the outside and the inside. Many immersive details such as traditional Chinese gardens can be found. There are also SODE jetways and custom animation of hangar doors and windsock.


Beijing Daxing International Airport opened to commercial operations on the 28th September 2019. It’s located about 45km south of the city of Beijing, and is planned to completely replace the current Beijing Capital Airport. The initial passenger capacity is around 72 million passengers per year, with a final goal of serving up to 200 million passengers per year. The current layout of the airport consists in 4 active runways and a distinctive star-shaped central terminal. There are a total of 9 runways planned. The airport will also have a military airbase, with its own dedicated runway.
